Swedish Massage- This traditional type of massage is used primarily for relaxation. Benefits include: increased circulation of blood and lymph, decreased stress levels, and fewer aches and pains. Light to firm pressure may be used. Cost is $85/60 min.
Deep Tissue Massage - This type of massage is used to address issues in specific regions of the body. If you have any postural distortions, or you experience chronic pain in one or more areas of your body, deep tissue massage may be appropriate. Each layer of muscle will be systematically worked, looking for adhesions (knots), bound fascia, trigger points (hypersensitive areas), and tightness. A firmer pressure is typically used.
Cost is $90/60 min.
Prenatal Massage - This type of massage is used to relax the expectant mother. Light to medium pressure, as well as a side-lying position, will be used. This type of massage is only done during the 2nd or 3rd trimesters. No massage will be performed in the 1st trimester. Cost is $85/60 min.
Sports Massage/Assisted Stretching-This type of massage is focused on warming up soft tissues and muscles for improved athletic performance. Often a more vigorous friction and cross muscle push and press motion. Assisted stretching is used to increase range of motion and like Sports massage, can be pre or post event. Cost is $100/60 min.
Hot Stone Massage-Basalt stones (heavy iron content) are heated in water and used to increase blood flow and heat to location applied. The stone can be used to add a firm pressure to release deeper tissue contractions. Cost is a $35 add-on to any massage or full body work for $125.
Cupping Therapy- Vacuum or negative pressure is applied to the surface of the body through a glass cup warmed (fire cupping) over a flame and or a hand pump (manual cupping) and cup. This draws and separates soft tissues and relieves knots or adhesions. Cups can be left in a location (for deeper work) or kept moving. Cost is a $35 add-on to an massage or full body work for $125.
Couples Massage-Two people are given a massage by two licensed massage therapists in the same session. This can be done in the same or separate rooms. Cost is $100/person or $200 for couple, this does not include add-on services.
Chair Massage-A specialized chair is used to reduce back pressure for the massage. Focus is generally head, neck, back and arms. Cost is $1.50/min.
Hot towel service-Heated towels are placed on the body in areas of focused work. Must be requested at the beginning of any massage session. Cost is $5 add-on to any massage or body treatment.
On-site body work-Massage that is completed in the clients home or business. Cost is typically a $35 set up fee (however this will depend on mileage and site location) plus cost of massage or body treatment.
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) -This therapy is designed to improve functional movement, range of motion (ROM) and performance. It unpacks layers of the skin (fascia) and frees connective tissues and muscles. Deeper than deep tissue massage. Cost is $100 for large area or full body work.
Kinesio Taping- This therapy improves movement and function, supports joints, reduces pain and decompresses skin. Taping assists with posture and can improve performance through stabilization and freeing fascia. Cost is $35.00 tape is provided.
Polychromatic Light Therapy (PLT)- A treatment where LED light and Infrared pads are placed on the body to increase circulation, stimulate the production of collagen, stimulate the release of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), increase lymphatic system activity, reduce the excitability of nervous tissue, increase thermal like effect in the tissue and many more... Typical uses for light therapy- Acute neck and back pain, Arthritis pain, Bone spurs and fractures, Bruises and burns, Bursitis, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Open wounds with negligible formation of scar tissue, Inflammation, Neuralgia, General pain relief, Peripheral neuropathy, Pressure ulcers, RSI/RSP, Shoulder pain, Sprains and strains, Swelling, Tendonitis, Tight muscles and reduction in scar tissue and many more...
